Your first dental visit will consist of a thorough review of your dental and health information and a comprehensive dental examination along with a discussion on proper diet, nutrition and good oral hygiene habits.
Depending on the your age and needs, we will complete a professional dental cleaning, conduct re-mineralization therapy, and take any necessary x-rays. Dr. Scott Morrell or Dr. Maribel Morrell will take time to discuss any concerns you may have. If decay is found, the information collected will allow Dr. Scott Morrell or Dr. Maribel Morrell to prepare a treatment plan and recommend the best options for your dental care.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call at (208) 342-3440.
One of the first things people notice is your smile!
We are pleased to provide several cosmetic and restorative treatment options for enhancing your smile.
Tooth decay is a progressive disease resulting from the interaction of bacteria that naturally occur on the teeth and sugars in the everyday diet. Sugar creates a reaction in the bacteria, causing it to produce acids that break down the minerals in teeth, forming a cavity. Dentists remove the decay and fill the tooth using a variety of fillings, restoring the tooth to a healthy state. Nerve damage can result from severe decay and may require a crown (a crown is a like a large filling that can cap a tooth, making it stronger and covering it). Avoiding unnecessary decay simply requires strict adherence to a dental hygiene regimen: brushing and flossing twice a day, regular dental checkups, diet control and fluoride treatment. Practicing good hygiene avoids unhealthy teeth and costly treatment.
Nothing exudes beauty and confidence like a bright, vibrant smile, and we believe everyone deserves to experience the life-altering benefits of a radiant, healthy smile. We appreciate your interest in our practice. Please contact us if you have any questions.
